Do you think they see?

It was a question I often asked myself during the covid pandemic, when the health measurements that were taken clearly demonstrated the inequity arising from the structures we build.

Some structures are helpful in ‘doing’ equity and community, others aren’t. Some people see that, others don’t or at least they seem not to.

I pose myself the same question these days when violence is offensively present in the way war is done.

Do you think they see?

That conflict needs introspection rather than bombing? That the world needs bridges rather than distance? That we better attempt to find out how we resemble than how we differ? Not only in war but also in conflict. In each relational circle we live in. Micro. Macro. Global. Local. It’s only a mirror.
